OUR STORY

WE HELP EXHIBIT & EVENT MANAGERS SUCCEED GLOBALLY

Global Exhibitor is a unique, global educational resource for face-to-face marketers. We help exhibit and event managers succeed globally by providing the following:

CROSS-CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT STRATEGIES

We believe that all business is conducted within the context of culture. But, because culture is so much a part of who we are, we often fail to realize the unique aspects of our culture until we are able to compare it to other cultures. We provide insights to help marketers understand cultures they are trying to reach, and strategies for building bridges across cultural divides.

EXPERT INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANTS

Sometimes we need guidance from someone who has “been there” and “done that!” But that kind of experience is not always easy to find, and may not be specific to the trade show and event industry. Our team members are some of the most experienced international experts in the industry. They each have specific areas of focus, covering a broad range of topics including international marketing strategies, cultural engagement issues, design, protocol, sales, logistics, and many more.

LOCAL GEOGRAPHICAL & VENUE INFORMATION

We recognize that show kits cannot contain all of the information you might need to have a successful show in a certain global city. In some cities, you may need to build your exhibit on a raised platform, there may not be a loading dock, and it might be important to know if the venue has air conditioning. These are only a couple of thousands of considerations that need to be made when planning your show or event. You may also want to know what kinds of entertainment options would be appropriate for your clients during the show. We maintain the most extensive repository of data on venues, travel, and local information that exists in any one place.

INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES

It is great to be able to benefit from the collective experience of others. It saves time, money and lots of trouble when we can tap into industry best practices. The world is a big place and there are lots of different ways of marketing, selling, and engaging across cultures. We continually look for those industry best practices from around the world – and sharing them with you here.

LOCAL IMPLEMENTATION RESOURCES

One of the most challenging aspects of working internationally is finding reliable, competent local resources which can help you implement your trade show or event project. This could include anything from building the actual exhibit structure, to design, the furniture rental, lighting, electrical and labor for installation and dismantle. With more than twenty-five years of working in over fifty countries, we have identified the most reliable local resources and make them available to you – along with our assessment of their capabilities.
