APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING COURSES

Our apprenticeship training courses meet the rigorous standards of the Department of Labor (DOL) Registered Apprenticeship Programs being developed for our industry. These programs provide hands-on learning experiences and practical skills development for apprentices across a variety of disciplines. These are expected to launch in 2025.

TRADE SHOW BASICS COURSE

Trade Show Basics is a two-session course, offered live (in-person) over two half days in various cities across the USA.

WHAT: Trade Show Basics provides a comprehensive overview of the trade show industry – giving you a better understanding of how the whole industry works, and how your role fits into the broader ecosystem. This course was developed and is taught by industry veteran, Jeff Hannah.

WHO: Recommended for individuals who are new to the trade show industry, from beginners to those with up to three years of experience. It is tailored specifically for individuals on the supplier side of the industry, including those working at exhibit houses, agencies, labor companies, general contractors, suppliers, rental companies, or graphic production firms.

WHERE: The course is given live / in-person in cities around the USA so that individuals in that region can generally drive to the location and take the classes in two half-days, reducing travel time and costs.

WHEN: The next session will be in the Washington DC Region – July 16 & 17, 2025

WHAT: You can select from an array of topics, or we can work with you to tailor fully customized solutions for your corporate needs. This includes a need assessment, content planning, development, and design of final coursework materials. We can also assist in giving the training to your employees, or we can provide “Train the Trainer” services. Custom Training Courses also include quizzes and assessments.

WHO: Any company in the industry which wants to have their own curriculum developed for employee training purposes – specifically tailored to the trade show and event industry.

WHERE: Global Exhibitor will create the courses and deliver the courses to your team. You can use the materials to train your employees. Or, we can be contracted to provide the training to your employees.

WHEN: Customized courses generally take about 8 to 10 weeks for development, possibly longer, depending on complexity and length.

HOW: Once a scope of work has been determined, Global Exhibitor will meet with your team to start the process of custom curriculum development. A detailed schedule will be produced, along with details about what the course will contain.

WHAT: Global Exhibitor provides essential “in-classroom” coursework required for apprenticeships across various disciplines.

WHO: Recommended for individuals who are enrolled in various trade show or event-related Registered Apprenticeship Programs.
